Gerald A. Brown is a nonprofit leader and motivational speaker. 

With nearly two decades of executive experience in the non-profit sector, Gerald A. Brown has helped raise over $14 million to fund the missions of some of Nashville's most impactful non-profit organizations. 

Multi-talented in fundraising, strategic planning, and program development, Mr. Brown, as CEO of Dismas, Inc, oversaw the development of an $11 million capital construction project and grew the operating budget by 400%. His passionate appeals to donors, supporters, and volunteers cultivated compassion and community around the Dimas House of Nashville mission. 

Prior to his tenure at Dismas, Inc., Mr. Brown served as Executive Director of Development at the Salvation Army, Nashville Area Command where he managed an annual budget of $7 million. 

Mr. Brown began his career as Director of Finance Services at Boy Scouts of America, Middle Tennessee Council where he oversaw a $7 million budget and secured $1.4 million in funding.


Gerald A. Brown has helped thousands of people in underserved communities throughout Middle Tennessee and is eager to share his knowledge and expertise with other nonprofit leaders.
